Bert Campaneris was a six time All-Star and a three time World Series Champion with the A’s. The Oakland A’s did not wear numbers on the front of their jerseys during the regular season. The front numbers were added for the playoffs and World Series. The A’s went on to win the World Series in 1972. Inside the front tail is the McAuliffe manufacturer’s tag. Above is the year “1972” and below is the size “38”. Inside the front right tail is a washing instructions tag. On the left chest is the team “A’s” logo. Adjacent and on the back is the player number “19”. These are done in white on green tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “CAMPANERIS” in green tackle twill. There is visible underarm sweat staining. There are spot reinforcements to the rear numerals done by the team. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com confirming the match.
