Ted Williams once said that Frank Howard was the strongest man who ever played baseball and his 6 foot 7 inch, 260 pound body indicates that Williams was most probably right. In 1960, he was named Rookie of the Year after hitting 23 home runs with 77 RBIs. 1962 was one of his better seasons when hit 31 homers and 119 RBIs. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label which includes the size "50." Below this is the name "Howard" and below this is the year "62". Both the name and year are done in blue chain stitch. On the inside left tail is the wash tag and the flag tag stating "Set 1 1962". Across the front of the shirt is the name "Los Angeles" in script style letters which are made of blue felt. The player number "25" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The number is made of red felt on the front and blue felt on the back. The jersey shows good game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
