Jimmy Wynn, the Houston Astros' first slugger, held virtually every offensive record when he left the club after 11 seasons. On the left front tail is a white label reading "Set B ‘74" in blue Swiss embroidered stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Dodgers" in script style letters and on the back is the name "Wynn". The letters are made of blue tackle twill. The player number "23" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The number on the front is made of red tackle twill and the number on the back is made of blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
