John Wetteland has been one of the premier closers in the Major Leagues during the 1990s racking up 330 career saves with an impressive 2.93 lifetime ERA. In the neck of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size "44" and adjacent is a white label reading "1989 1" in Swiss embroidered stitch. The numbers denote the year and set number, respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Dodgers" in script style letters made of blue tackle twill and on the back is the name "Wetteland" in blue on white tackle twill. The player number "57" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the shirt. The numbers on the front are made of red tackle twill and the numbers on the back are made of blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
