In one of the Pittsburgh Pirates most glorious seasons, Elroy Face brought his "A" game to the most important part of it. In the World Series this All-Star pitcher who went 10-8 with 24 saves in the regular season, anchored the Pirates staff in the late innings, providing three key saves. In the neck of the jersey is the "MacGregor" label with the size "42" and below is an autograph in blue marker that rates a 5. On the inside right tail is the year tag "60" in red chain stitch and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 2 1960". Across the front of the jersey is the name "Pirates" and on the back is the player number "26". The letters and numbers are made of black on gold tackle twill. There is gold/black/gold trim around the armholes and neck of the shirt. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
