Gary Carter, a multi-sport athlete in high school, turned down over 100 football scholarships when he signed with the Expos. Along with being a two time All-Star Game MVP, "The Kid" also had 2,092 career hits and 324 career home runs. This mask was worn by Carter in the mid 1980's during his stint with the New York Mets. It is signed in silver Sharpie on the upper right side portion of the mask with the signature rating at least a 9. This mask shows good game use.
