A Major League manager for 24 seasons, Leo Durocher finished his career with over 2000 managerial victories. In 1951 he led his team to the World Series after the "Shot heard round the world" and in 1954, he claimed a World Championship by sweeping the Cleveland Indians in the final dance. In the neck of the jersey is a gray felt patch reading "2-1966-4-42" in black chain stitch. The numbers denote the player number, year, set number and size, respectively. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label with the size "42". Across the front of the jersey is the name "Chicago" in blue on orange felt and on the back is the player number "2" in blue tackle twill. There has been a number change. On the left sleeve is the Cubs patch and there is an autograph on the front of the shirt in blue marker that rates a 7. The jersey shows wear and with the exception of the number change, appears to have no other alterations.
