When one thinks of Greg Maddux one word comes to mind - consistency. Maddux has consistently been one of the premier pitchers in all of baseball. Along with his 4 consecutive Cy Young Awards, Maddux won every Gold Glove for his position in the 1990s. The neck of the jersey, worn by Maddux in his first year in the Major Leagues, includes the "Majestic" label with the size "Large". On the left front of the jersey is the Cubs red/white and blue logo while the back of the jersey has the number "31" in white tackle twill. Inside the waistband of the pants is the "Rawlings" label with the size "30" beside a white label with lavender Swiss embroidered stitch that reads "31 87 2 30 25". These numbers denote Maddux's number, the year, set number, waist size and inseam. The jersey and pants show great wear including a small hole in the upper section of the rear left leg. Both items come with an additional letter of authenticity.
