A free-swinging slugger, Andre Dawson was a complete player throughout his career, combining great defense in the field with an outstanding bat in the lineup. In the neck of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label which includes the size "46". Below this is a white label reading "8 91 1 46T" in blue Swiss embroidered stitch. The numbers denote the player, year, set number and size, respectively. The letter "T" denotes custom tapering. On the left breast is the Cubs red/white/blue logo and on the back is the player number "8" in blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Cubs patch and on the lower front is an autograph in black Sharpie that rates an 8. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
