In the rear sweatband is the Sports Specialties size “7 ¼” manufacturer's tag. Adjacent is a tag reading “THE PRO” and the official MLB logo. Handwritten under the brim is the player number “25” in black marker and on the front of the cap is the “A’s” logo embroidered in white. McGwire signed the bill of the cap in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 6.5. There is considerable sweat staining throughout the cap. This cap is properly tagged and was presented to us as game-used attributed to Mark McGwire. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
