The strikeout is the mark of domination for a pitcher, and no one dominated hitters better than Nolan Ryan and his blazing fastball. His 5,714 strikeouts stand far above any other pitcher's total and are a record that may never be broken. The combination of Ryan's strikeout record, 324 wins, and amazing seven no-hitters made him a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 1999. This road knit jersey was used by Ryan in 1984 during his stint with the Houston Astros. On the left front tail is the "Goodman" label with the size "44." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Astros" in blue on white tackle twill and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Ryan" in blue tackle twill. On the left breast is the Astros "Star" and on the back is the player number "34." Both the star and the number are made of blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows nice game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
