He was perhaps the greatest third baseman of the second half of the 20th century. His combination of power and speed made him a threat every time he set foot into the ballpark. When he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995 Mike Schmidt received 96% of the vote, he most certainly deserved it. They are size 11 ½ converse cleats that were used by Schmidt as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies. His jersey number "20" has been written on the back in black ink. The cleats have both been signed in silver with signatures that both rate a strong 8. They show tremendous use.
