During his five seasons as a major league ball player Ed Wright played for both the Boston Braves, and the Philadelphia Phillies and won a total of 25 games. He finished off the 1945 season with a record of 8 wins and 3 losses and an ERA of 2.51. In the neck of the jersey is the "Horace Patridge" label and adjacent is the size tag "44." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Boston" and on the back is the player number "14." The letters and numbers are made of blue felt. On the left sleeve is the Braves multicolored embroidered Indian Head. The name patch in the neck has been removed. The jersey shows game-use and, other than the removal of the name tag, appears to have no alterations of any kind.
