One of the main reasons the Braves have been one of the best teams in the Major Leagues over the past ten seasons is Tom Glavine. This crafty left handed pitcher has won two Cy Youngs and won 20 games five times during the Braves dominance over the National League in the 1990s. This jersey was worn during the 1996 World Series. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" exclusive label and adjacent is the size tag "42". Below this is the year tag "96" in blue Swiss embroidered stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Braves" in script style letters made of red on blue tackle twill. Below this is the Braves red/blue/black/gold "Tomahawk". On the back of the jersey is a white nameplate with the name "Glavine" in blue tackle twill and below this is the player number "47" in red on blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the "1996 World Series" patch. On the back number "4" is an autograph in silver marker and it rates a 9. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
