Over 16 incredible seasons Juan Marichal won 243 games and lost only 142 on his way to becoming the pride of the Giants. He won 20 or more games six times and pitched a no hitter in 1963. A ten time All-Star Marichal was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1983. In the neck of the jersey is a white felt patch with the name "Marichal" in black chain stitch. On the left front tail is the "McAuliffe" label and below this is the size tag "42." Next to this is the year tag "67." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Giants" and on the back is the player number "27." Both the name and number are made of black felt on orange rip cord backing. There is orange/black/orange trim around the neck and around the ends of the sleeves. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
