Don Zimmer has spent over a half of a century in Major League baseball first as player, then manager, and now coach. His most recent job has been coaching with the Yankee dynasty that has dominated baseball for the last few seasons. On the back inside tail is the year tag "1974" and below is the "McAuliffe" label. Below this is the size tag "44." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Boston" and on the back is the player number "34." The name and number are made of red on blue tackle twill. Zimmer has signed the jersey in the collar in blue Sharpie and the signature rates a strong 8 to 9. It shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
