The only pitcher in Major League history to win five Cy Young awards, Roger Clemens was the only modern era pitcher to be placed on Major League Baseball's All-Century team. He has combined high velocity with pin-point control to dominate batters throughout his career. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size "48" and below is the year tab "1996". Across the front of the jersey is the name "Red Sox" and on the back is the player number "21". Both the name and number are made of red on blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The black spikes are manufactured by Puma. The number "21" appears in blue pen on three parts of the right spike; the instep, top of the tongue and on top of the heal. There is also a pitcher's toe on the right spike and right above it is an autograph in gold marker that rates a 4. The spikes show great game use.
