After winning the 1992-93 NBA championship and being given NBA Finals MVP honors, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls completed the first of their two historic three-peat championship runs. Jordan had yet another exceptional season, leading the NBA in scoring and steals. Jordan and the Bulls did not have a realistic chance to win four championships in a row, as Jordan missed the following season to play baseball for the Birmingham Barons. On the front left tail is a "Champion" size "46" manufacturer's tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a "Champion" distributor's tag that reads, "1992-93 Designed and Tailored Exclusively for CHICAGO BULLS ID# BODY LENGTH +3". On the left inseam is a tag that reads, "100% NYLON". On the left chest is the official "NBA" logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “BULLS”, the player number "23" appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name "JORDAN". All numbering and lettering are done in black on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the red mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use with discernible pilling on the the edges of the tackle twill identifiers from multiple washings. A trait that is atypical for Jordan shirts from this era and one that is clearly visible in high resolution in-game photography.
