The winner on four Cy Young awards, Steve "Lefty" Carlton is one of the greatest left handed pitchers of all time. Carlton finished his career with 329 wins and a 3.22 career ERA. On the left front tail is the "Sand-Knit" exclusive label and next to this is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "48". On the inside back tail is a white label reading "86-48" in black chain stitch. The numbers denote the year and size, respectively. Next to this is a white label with the name "Carlton" in black chain stitch. On the front of the jersey is the name "Sox" in white tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is the name "Carlton" and below is the player number "32". Both the name and number are made of blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
