Ken Griffey Jr. has solidified himself as one of the greatest players of our generation. A 10 time All-Star he has earned not only ten gold gloves, but seven Silver Slugger awards as well. The 1997 AL MVP Griffey became the second youngest player in history to hit 300 home runs. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size "46" and below is the year tag "1998." Next to this is the "2" Extra Body Length" label. Across The front of the jersey is the name "Mariners" in blue tackle twill on a teal/silver backing. On the back is a white nameplate with the name "Griffey" and below this is the player number "24." Both the name and number are made of blue on teal tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Seattle Mariners" patch and on the back is a blue Sharpie autograph that rates a strong 8. The jersey is accompanied by a certificate signed by Griffey. It shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
