Ken Griffey Jr. was inducted into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 2016 with 99.32% of the vote, the highest ever for a baseball player. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “48” with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER”, “2” EXTRA LENGTH” and a strip tag reading the year “1999”. Across the chest reads “MARINERS” in navy blue on teal on silver sparkle triple tackle twill. Across the back on a white nameplate reads the player name “GRIFFEY” and below is player number “24”. These are done in the same navy blue on teal tackle twill. Above the player name is a “Russell” logo embroidered in navy blue. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
