Dwight Gooden won a Cy Young award and captured the pitching triple crown in the process during his career. Gooden was also a three-time World Series Champion. On the inside front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Attached are two strip tags reading “16” and “2 INCH EXTRA LENGTH” as well as a flag tag reading “SET 1 1988”. Across the front reads “Mets” in script style writing. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “16”. Across the back is the player name “GOODEN”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. Gooden signed the front of the jersey in blue marker and in our opinion the signature rates a near 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10.
