Baseball’s hit king, Pete Rose, is a 17-time All-Star, a three-time World Series champion and a National League MVP. On top of multiple MLB all-time hitting records, Rose was a three-time NL batting champion, has his No. 14 retired by the Cincinnati Reds franchise and was named to the MLB All-Century Team. On the inside front left tail is the Rawlings size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag reading “SET 1 1984”. On the left chest is the Reds team logo in white embroidery on red tackle twill. The player number “14” appears on both the right chest and on the back. Across the back is the player name, “ROSE”. All numbering and lettering is done in red tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. Rose signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “Best Wishes” and in our opinion, rates a strong 8. Rose was a player-manager during the 1984 season. This jersey is features a restored manufacturers tag, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
