On the inside front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturers tag size “46” with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag reading “SET 1 1980”. Handwritten in the rear collar is the player number “16” in period faded black marker. On the left chest is the Expos team logo in red, white and blue tackle twill. Adjacent below reads “expos”. On the right chest and on the back is the player number “16”. Across the back reads the player name “FRANCONA”. These all are done in red tackle twill. There is clear evidence that a blank nameplate was added over the player name for subsequent use in Spring Training 1982. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use with extended organizational use.
