Steve Stone’s best year of his professional career came in 1980 with the Baltimore Orioles, when he earned 25 wins and the American League Cy Young Award. Stone also pitched three innings in the All-Star Game. On the front left tail is an orange strip tag with, “80 1” embroidered on it in blue chain-stitching. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Wilson” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “Orioles” and the player number “32” appears on both the front and on the back. These are done in black on white tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “STONE” in black tackle twill on an orange nameplate. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
