Ken Griffey Jr. was inducted into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 2016 with 99.32% of the vote. In the rear sweatband is the New Era manufacturers tag. Adjacent are two tags, one reading “100% WOOL SIZE 7 1-8 MADE IN USA” and one reading “Authentic Diamond Collection”. The player number “24” is handwritten under the bill in period faded blue marker. The front of the cap shows the Mariners “S” logo and on the back is the official “MLB” logo. Griffey signed the bill of the cap in silver marker with the added inscription that appears to read “game” and in our opinion the signature rates a 7.5. There is sweat staining readily apparent inside the cap. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used with attribution to Ken Griffey Jr. and in our opinion shows use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
