Since Mike Piazza came up with the L.A. Dodgers in September of 1992, he has been one of the most productive hitters in the majors. He is one of only six players to hit more than 30 homeruns in each of the last six years and has driven in over 100 RBIs six times. His lifetime .328 average and low strikeout total attests to his good eye and patience at the plate. Rookie of the Year in 1993 and a seven time all-star, Piazza is starting to pack his bags for a trip to Cooperstown. This San Antonio Missions minor league batting practice jersey was worn by the future Hall of Famer during the 1992 season. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size "44". Across the front of the shirt is the name "Missions" in script style letters. The player number "33" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the shirt. The letters are white and have been ironed-on. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
