Ben Grieve went 1 for 6 in the A's 6-3 loss to the Anaheim Angels. Ben doubled to left center leading off the fifth inning against Angels starter Scott Karl. Grieve advanced to third on a fielder's choice and scored on an error by the first baseman. The A's were trying for a four game sweep but fell short in 14 innings. Oakland was one game out of first in the AL West.
