Gary Payton was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. Known as one of the best defensive point guards, Payton earned the nickname, “The Glove”. On the front left tail is a Nike size “50” manufacturer’s tag with a “LENGTH + 4” flag tag attached below. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “LAKERS” and across the back reads the player name, “PAYTON”. These are done in purple on white tackle twill. The player number “20” appears on both the front and on the back in white on purple tackle twill. Payton signed the back of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 9. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a Lakers LOA for the autograph.
