This letter on Detroit Tigers stationery, dated "October 29, 1925," was written by Hall of Famer Ty Cobb to someone who arranged a hunting trip for him. In it, Cobb writes of a few days' experiences and vows to send the recipient a baseball souvenir out of his appreciation. The letter has been folded into thirds and shows wear along the folds. It is signed by Cobb and the signature rates a 7+. We have seldom seen anything signed by Cobb relating to the Tigers, and this was written following a season in which Cobb batted .378 and led the team to a fourth-place finish. A PSA/DNA certification sticker is attached to the back of the letter.
