As one of the early stars of the game Honus Wagner made his mark on the history of baseball and will always be remembered for his accomplishments. A sensational hitter he batted .344 in his rookie season and went on to have 17 consecutive .300 seasons, which earned him eight batting titles. This check, dated march 7, 1921, has been filled out andd signed by Wagner. His signature, in the lower right corner, is in blue fountain pen and rates as 8. The bank cancellation effects the "John H" of his name, but it is still very readable. The check is in excellent condition.
