John Huarte won Notre Dame’s sixth Heisman trophy while leading the Irish to a turnaround 9-1 record in 1964 and was named the United Press International player of the year and a consensus first-team All-American. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturers tag size “42” with washing instructions. Across the front, back and on both shoulders is the player number “7” in navy blue vinyl numbering. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “HUARTE” in navy blue tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
