Mid 1970s John Cappelletti Los Angeles Rams Game-Used & Autographed Jersey (JSA • Team Repair • Graded 10 • Only Blue Example Known)

John Cappelletti won the Heisman Trophy in 1973 at Penn State. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1993. On the front left tail is the Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “48” with washing instructions. Adjacent above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the LOS ANGELES RAMS” tag. Above this is the “Wm Fredericks Company” distributor’s tag. Across the front, back and on both sleeves is the player number “22” in yellow vinyl numbering. Across the back on a blue nameplate is the player name “CAPPELLETTI” in white vinyl lettering. Cappelletti signed the back of the jersey inside the player number in blue marker and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. There is a team repair on the left shoulder. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
