After dominating the American League during the 1933 season, the Washington Senators found themselves en route to the World Series. Sometime between the regular and post season the team was honored with a dinner during a train ride. This menu, from that dinner, features pictures of both manager Clark Griffith and a player, presumably Hall of Famer Sam Rice who has signed right next to the picture, on the cover. The menu is in good to very good condition and has been signed on the cover by 18 players including Hall of Famers Sam Rice, Clark Griffith, Joe Cronin, Goose Goslin, Heinie Manush. The other signers are Moe Berg, Al Schact, Jack Russell, Monte Weaver, Cliff Bolton, Nick Altrock, Ed Chapman, Dave Harris, Fred Schulte, Bob Boken, Earl Whitehill, and one player who can not be identified. The historic menu is in good to very good condition with a small piece of tape affixed to the upper right hand corner. There is some discoloration, and stray ink marks on the back. The menu has chipping and flaking around the edges which effects 3 signatures. The signatures rates between 3 and 9 with the Hall of Famers being among the best.
