Behind the pitching of Wes Ferrell, who became the century's first pitcher to win twenty or more games in his first four seasons, the 1931 Cleveland Indians finished with a 78-76 record. This autographed team sheet has been signed by 25 members of the 1931 Indians including Moe Berg, who was one of the first members of the O.S.S. who served his country as a barnstormer by taking many pictures for the U.S. government during his Major League Baseball trips to Japan. The sheet is also signed with a near 10 signature with slight overlapping from the signature underneath by Hall of Fame center fielder Earl Averill.
