On the inner left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and four flag tags, size “48”, “2002 SET 2”, and two reading “1 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the front reads “Cardinals” in red chain-stitch embroidery. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “35”. Across the back is the player name “MORRIS” on a white nameplate. All are done in red on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a “DK 57” memorial patch embroidered in black and white commemorating Cardinals pitcher Darryl Kile who passed away at age 33 of an apparent heart attack in his hotel room before a June 22, 2002 game against the rival Cubs. Adjacent below is the Rawlings “R” embroidered in red. On the right sleeve is a “JFB” memorial patch also embroidered in black and white commemorating Cardinals long-time broadcaster Jack Francis Buck. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in red, white and navy blue. Morris signed the back of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a near 9. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
