Known as the "Dean of Sports Cartooning" Willard Mullin is one of the most respected sports illustrators of all time. His work has graced the pages of countless newspapers and has inspired many of todays more prominent sports artists. These 47 cards each depict some of Mullin's more famous illustrations including what is perhaps his most famous, the Brooklyn Dodger "Bum". Other prominent subjects include Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and many other New York Sports heros. Pee Wee Reese and Duke Snider have each signed a card that bears their likeness in blue Sharpie and their signatures both rate strong 9s. The cards are in overall excellent to near mint condition and measure 3 ½" x 5".
