Half way through each season baseball's best gather for what has become one of the the most anticipated games of the year, the All-Star game. This jersey is a replica of the the one worn by each American League player during batting practice at the 1999 All-Star game in Boston. On the right breast is the "99 ALL STAR GAME" patch and on the left side is a large patch reading "AMERICAN". 25 of the best American League players of our generation have signed the front in silver paint pen with signatures that rate from 8 to near 10. Signers include Jeter, Griffey, Williams, Cone, Ripken, Martinez, Torre, Garciaparra, Mussina, and more. The jersey is accompanied by a letter that details the chain of ownership since the jersey was first signed.
