This 8" x 10" in near mint condition black and white photo, has been framed to an over 13 1/2" x 15 ½" size. The pinstripe matting and frame is also in near mint condition. The 1939 Yankees climaxed another great season by sweeping Cincinnati in the World Series. Led by their rookie outfielder Charlie Keller, Dickey and DiMaggio this was another in a long line of power ladden Yankee teams. All players have signed the photo except Lou Gehrig and Jake Powell. The signatures rate between 5s and 9s. Charlie Keller and Joe McCarthy are very strong. Part of the Dickey in Bill Dickey crosses Ruffing's face. Part of the DiMaggio crosses the player to his left.
