The near mint copy of "The Mick" is the 1985 edition. The dust jacket has a small smudge on the front, two small missing pieces and three small tears. It has been signed by Mickey, in blue ball point pen, on page 2, with a near 10 autograph. The copy of "Veeck As In Wreck" is in excellent condition, with some slight staining on the cover. Bill Veeck was the owner of several teams from the 1940s to the 1980s and was a baseball pioneer. He brought many entertainment ideas to the game of baseball. He began the idea of giveaways at the ballpark and the exploding scoreboard. His most remembered "stunt" was to have 3' 7" Eddie Gaedel pinch hit for the St. Louis Browns in 1951. The book is signed in blue ball point pen, with a 9 autograph.
Autographed Copies Of "Veeck As In Wreck" And "The Mick".
