These two near-flawless hardbound books bear near-perfect-grade-10 signatures of perhaps the two most desirable autographs in all of sports and the two men who between them patrolled centerfield for the New York Yankees for a combined 30 years. Joe DiMaggio's self-written "Lucky to Be a Yankee" (5" x 7 ½", 221 pp), published in 1947, features a yellow front cover signed by Joe D in black magic marker. Mantle's "My Favorite Summer 1956" (6" x 9 ½", 246 pp), co-written with Phil Pepe, came out in 1991 and his signature is written in distinctive gold ink across the black bottom of the front cover.
