On January 28, 1974 Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier faced off at Madison Square Garden in a 12 round battle. The outcome: Ali won by unanimous decision and earned the right to challenge George Foreman for the title. Amoung those sitting at ringside was renoun artist Leroy Neiman. This 10"x11" original artwork was drawn by Neiman as he sat ringside and has been double matted and framed to an overall size of 20 ½" x 21 ½". The drawing shows the two fighters going head to head and has the following writing beneath "Ali-Frazier II, Mad. Sq. Garden N.Y. Jan, 28 74" and has been signed in pencil "Leroy Neiman", the signature rates a strong 9.
