The artistic skill of Murray Tinkelman does not end with the drawing, which alone is a testament to this mastery. His framing is done with he same aplomb as is his art. In this piece, Tinkelman takes a vintage photograph of one of baseball's greatest brother combos, HOFers Lloyd Waner and Paul Waner, along with lined 3" x 5" index card ink autographs of the duo and frames them in his incomparable style. Paul is a 9, and Lloyd rates a 6."Big Poison," brother Paul, had a lifetime .333 batting average eclipsing the 300 mark 16 times while leading the NL on three occasions. He compiled 3,152 lifetime hits and ranks 10th all time for both doubles and triples. "Little Poison," brother Lloyd, has a .316 lifetime batting average, eleven times excluding the .300 mark with four 200 plus hit seasons. The piece measures 15.5" by 22" and is ready to hang.
