Ernie "Mr. Cub" Banks was one of the most popular players ever to don a major uniform. Banks was twice the NL's Most Valuable Player and is a member of baseball's exclusive 500 Home Run Club, the only shortstop in that honored circle of achievement. This remarkable work by Tinkelman features Banks in three different poses, each of them capturing his love of the game. His moniker "Mr. Cub" and the Cubs' logo are also shown in the work and Ernie autographs the piece "Let's Play Two, by Ernie Banks, Mr. Cub" in black Sharpie, rating a strong 8. It is also signed in pencil by the artist. What a wonderful piece of art for any Cub fan to own. The work is professionally matted and framed and measures 24.5" x 18.5."
