George Brett was perhaps the best third baseman of all time. He especially shone in the post season when he topped the .370 mark in both of his World Series appearances. He connected for three home runs in a playoff game in 1983 against the New York Yankees' Hall of Famer Catfish Hunter, and hit the dramatic "game-winning homer" in those same playoffs against Goose Gossage in the famous "Pine Tar Game." His career post season totals were a .351 batting average with 10 home runs. This 21" by 24" original drawing with frame by Tinkelman and signed "George Brett #5" is imaginatively framed. The matting is a series of intricate blue, gold and white cutouts of "KCs" and diamonds while the thick wooden frame is rubbed with what else but pine tar! It is a one-of-a-kind piece of a one-of-a-kind player. It is autographed in black sharpie by Brett rating a seven and is also signed in pencil by the artist.
