The "Splendid Splinter" was arguably baseball's greatest hitter. Williams lost five years in the prime of his baseball career to the armed services in two different wars/ Has Williams been able to perform in those years, he would have in all likelihood approached or eclipsed the 700 HR and 2,400 RBI plateaus. Such accomplishments would have placed Williams #3 in homers and #1 in RBIs. The pen and ink image of Williams captured by the artist Tinkelman, shows him holding two bats across his left shoulder, perhaps on deck intensely studying the opposing pitcher. The piece matted and framed in Bosox colors measures 15" x 18" and is ready to hang in your den. The piece is autographed by the artist in pencil and by Williams in a fading black Sharpie.
