986. 1970s Sports Illustrated Lithograph: Rod Laver Known for topspin ground strokes, Rod Laver was one of the best tennis players the world has ever seen. Although small in stature, Laver was a major force in tennis having been the only person to ever win the grand slam of tennis twice. This lithograph, numbered 401 of 1500, of "The Rocket" returning a shot measures 16" X 20" and comes in a lacquered wood frame which measures 22" X 26". The frame shows some scuffing and dents. Laver signed the lithograph in pencil with the signatures rating at least a 9. There is also what appears to be a wax stain on the glass portion of the frame that in no way interferes with the lithograph in any way. Reserve $150
