This near-mint-condition lithograph shows an honor roll of legendary Laker greats from the ‘50s to the ‘90s: Their names read like a Mt. Rushmore of basketball: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (the NBA's all-time leading scorer with 38,387 points), Wilt Chamberlain (third all-time with 31,419. points), Elgin Baylor (third all-time in scoring average, 27.4), Jerry West (fourth at 27.0), and Magic Johnson, arguably the best all-around player in history. While Wilt and West led the team to a record 33-straight wins and a title in 1971, Magic and Kareem made the Lakers the team of the 1980s, when they won four times. The magnificent lithograph measures 22" x 37" and bears color illustrations of the five legends, whose uniform numbers are in raised numerals on off-white paper, as is the word "Legends" across the top. Each player has signed his name under his portrait in charcoal pencil, and the signatures all rate a near 10.
