Future Hall of Famer LeBron James won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award for the 2003-04 season by averaging 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Offered is LeBron’s first professional jersey that he wore during the NBA Summer League in Orlando, FL after being drafted first overall. James wasted little time showing the world what he's capable of. As a 19 year old, James tallied 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in his Summer League debut. On the front left tail of this reversible pinnie jersey is the Reebok manufacturers tag size “3XL”. Across the front of the red side of the reversible jersey reads “cavaliers basketball”. The white side simply features a Cavaliers team logo on the front. Both sides feature the player number “23” on the front and back. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used in the Summer League and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an Orlando Magic Executive's LOA which states "During the 2003 2004 Summer League the Cavaliers camp asked for access to theme park passes and I personally gave them my tickets that I acquired for their staff and player use. The Cavaliers basketball Ops team then personally gave me and my son... this jersey, sweat drenched immediately following his first game as a thank you gesture. I hope you enjoy this jersey as much as me and my son have and it makes a great addition to your collection.".
