Karl Malone played his college ball at Louisiana Tech University under coach Andy Russo where he was named All-Southland from 1983-85, the Southland Player of the Year in 1983, and second-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches in 1985. For his collegiate career he averaged 18.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and shot .566 from the field. Those stats along with his talent helped him get an invite to the 1984 Olympic Trials and make him the thirteen pick of the 1985 NBA Draft. Malone would go on to have a Hall of Fame career in the NBA. In the rear neck of the baby blue warm-up jacket is the Powers manufacturers tag size “46” with washing instructions. On the front right tail is the player number “32” in red on white tackle twill. On the left chest is the Louisiana Tech “T” logo in red, blue and white tackle twill. This warm-up jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and shows use. Accompanied by a HA LOA.
